Pattaconck

Pattaconck is a section the Cockaponsett State Forest that runs throughout CT.  BSA Troop 494 ventured out to a camp ground on a beautiful man-made lake.  At the campsite, there was a large leantoo, where most scouts slept, except for some that fared the high winds and cold nights in tents.  In years past, it rained like a torrential downfall all weekend, but not this one.  We were blessed with perfect weather, except for the cool temperatures.  Anyway, we went on a pretty big hike, and made some great food and had a chili cook off that night
